  • Payment information: payment card details and billing address (processed via PayFast).

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our platform and services.
  • To manage your account, subscription, and billing.

  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations under South African law.

We process your personal information on the following legal bases as set out in POPIA:

  • Contractual necessity: processing is necessary for the performance of the Subscriber Agreement.
  • Legal obligation: processing is required to comply with applicable laws.
  • Legitimate interest: processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as improving our platform.

  • Service providers: third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting (MongoDB Atlas, Azure), payment processing (PayFast), email delivery, and SMS (ClickSend).

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. After account closure, we retain information for a period of one year, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • Correction: you may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
